I am a high school English teacher currently taking classes toward a Masters of Educational Technology (M.E.T.) from Boise State University. In case you remember something from high school, a few topics I teach are The Great Gatsby, Of Mice and Men, Ernest Hemingway's short stories, short story writing, 3-part essay writing, and Shakespeare's Macbeth.
Outside the classroom, my time is spent with my wife of five years, and two young boys, ages 1 and 2. I follow Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead, along with a variety of movies via IMDb. The latest books I have read include The Fault in Our Stars and A Storm of Swords (Game of Thrones book 3-well, halfway--can't read past the current season of the show). I am a semi-expert when it comes to landscape design and construction and have a variety of experiences in light construction and remodel. Lastly, I love photography and finally upgraded from my N80 I used in high school (a film camera) to the Nikon D7000 (a prosumer DSLR model). I have been cutting my teeth on this one taking photos of my brother- and sister-in-law's newborn. The real test will be doing video for my sister-in-law's wedding this August.
