First official post
This is simply a welcome post--my first official one. I will be using this blog for a variety of purposes this semester while taking the graduate class Blogging in the Classroom. Although the class emphasizes teachers' personal blogs, I hope to learn from my own blogging some ideas for a class blog I intend to start next semester. That said, I look forward to posting about what I am learning. Thanks!

Matt, I think you'll find the nature of entries that I ask you to create over the course of the next seven weeks will largely be things that could be applied to a personal blog. For example, I'll post samples each week and they will all be consistent with my own blogging focus and theme.
